Join us for an exciting day celebrating art and the land at Hauser & Wirth Somerset, delivered in collaboration with Wild Resources. Children are invited to take part in a forest school session where they will be introduced to the rural landscape through a range of activities, from bark rubbings to shelter building. In a guided tour of the exhibition ‘The Land We Live In – The Land We Left Behind’ students will practice looking at and creating artwork with our education team. This ambitious survey exhibition will provide the context for children to explore their understanding of the landscape through both practical outdoor activities and visual culture.
This session can be booked per class on any of the following Fridays: 9 Feb, 2 Mar, 13 Apr. All workshops run from 10 am – 2 pm and cost £5 per pupil. To book please email firstname.lastname@example.org or for more information please call Debbie Hillyerd on 01749 814572
These sessions will meet Forest School requirements. All materials and resources will be provided. Pupils should dress for the outdoors.
